Solar Panels: The Future of Energy
Posted by admin in Solar Panels
In this age of globalization of new energy producing products, many solar panel (also known as solar modules) manufacturers have turned up in today’s market, offering their clients the best in quality of solar energy equipments. Their vision and mission is to ensure a future free from fossil fuels, global warming, and to build a greener, brighter and a better environment friendly tomorrow. But before getting into the current market status of global solar panel manufacturers, let us understand what solar energy is, and the role of solar modules or panels in the energy producing industry.
Solar energy basically is the heat or light emitting from the rays of the sun. The radiation that is emitted is absorbed by the solar panels which in turn generate electricity. A solar panel, is an equipment which converts the rays of sunlight into electricity; it is made up of an array of solar cells (or photovoltaic cells) interconnected and packaged together. Solar energy was first discovered in the year 1838 by Edmond Becquerel and when the first kind of solar panel functioned in the late 1860’s, people were all geared up to set these panels everywhere! This rage of setting up panels soon died down as the production cost of a single solar panel was inefficient for a larger user base.
But with the 1970’s wave of environmental interest breathing down hard on global warming, the solar powered panels were back on track. Investments were made and researches were done on the panels resulting in its mass productivity. Many solar panels available in the market are rigid ones, but with the advancement of thin-film cells there are some semi-flexible solar panels which can also be purchased. Most of the solar panel manufacturers produce panels using wafer-based crystalline silicon cells or thin-film cells and the semiconductor used during the manufacturing stage of solar panels is crystalline silicon. These panels are then categorised as monocrystalline or polycrystalline modules.
Despite the mass production of commercial solar panels, many people are going in for wholesale solar panels. Reason being, that the commercial solar panels available are expensive and may not last longer in torrid weather conditions. To avoid purchasing either product, few families have even resorted to constructing solar panels (or DIY’s) at home using cheaper materials.
The second best option apart from commercial solar panels is to buy wholesale solar panels. When purchasing wholesale solar panels you may watch out for the latest product or design, the technical aspects, and the product’s capacity to produce the required amount of electricity. Setting up a wholesale solar panel may differ from the commercial one in more ways than one.
Some solar panel manufacturers may even charge an extra repackaging fee if you intend on purchasing one or more solar panels. And then the issue of warranty, bargaining may also crop up. Money wise it may sound reasonable but you may also end up owning different models of solar panels when the previous one expires. On the whole, if you are really keen on reducing your electricity bills and looking for a long term plan without hassles, then it is advisable to purchase commercial solar panels for easy and efficient usage.
